Turn calories into gas.

The concept of bike sharing is not new. European countries have been doing it successfully for years now. And with the ever growing need to go green and reduce your carbon footprint, it’s time to consider bike sharing in North America.

B-cycle is a collaboration between three major players in three industries: Humana, Trek Bicycle Corporation and Crispin Porter + Bogusky. There are many benefits of incorporating bike sharing in our cities. For example, B-cycles capture information such as your distance traveled, equivalent calories burned and carbon offset after each ride. You can then look up this data from your personal user profile on Bcycle.com. It’s basically Nike ID with two wheels, hmm… I may have pedaled into something here.

Look, we all want to get fit and we all want to do our part for the environment. So why not do them both at the same time? Not to mention, you’ll be reducing congestion in our already crowded streets. Check out the video and link below. See for yourself, hopefully we’ll bump into one another at a B-station.
